外国人起業促進実施団体 Foreign Startup Support Organizations Now Open to the Private Sector

今年2025年から全国展開が始まった「外国人起業活動促進事業」。
昨年までは地方自治体にしか認められていなかった「外国人起業促進実施団体」。
全国展開と同時に民間にも認められることになりました。
2025年3月25日付けでその第一号となった企業がこの度、経済産業省のホームページで公表されました。

Japan has officially opened the “Foreign Startup Promotion Program” nationwide in 2025.
Until last year, only local governments were eligible to be certified as Foreign Startup Support Organizations.
But with the new expansion, private companies are now recognized as certified support entities.
On March 25, 2025, the very first private company to receive this certification was publicly announced on the official website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

民間企業による外国人起業促進がスタートしたことになります。これまでも地方自治体から委託されて民間が支援するというような形態はあったようですが、いよいよ自由な発想で支援できる100％民間の「外国人起業活動促進事業」がスタートしたことで日本の国際競争力を高める魅力あるアイディアを持つ外国人起業家たちがぞくぞく来日することが期待できます。

This marks the beginning of a new era: private-sector-driven support for foreign entrepreneurs in Japan.
Although some private firms previously supported startups under local government contracts, the new system allows 100% privately managed support—with more flexibility and innovation.
As a result, visionary foreign entrepreneurs with globally competitive ideas are expected to flock to Japan in greater numbers.

第一号で認定されたのは株式会社ツクリエ様という東京に本社おく企業だそうです。株式会社ツクリエ様のウエブサイトによるとインキュベーション施設運営をし、起業支援の相談ができる専門のスタッフなども常駐させている起業支援専門の企業様とのことです。

The first company to be certified is Tsukrie Inc., a Tokyo-based startup support firm.
According to their website, Tsukrie operates incubation centers and offers on-site startup consulting with professional staff.
They currently manage facilities in Tokyo, Ibaraki, Nagoya, and Osaka.
